Sissinghurst · The Kent Weald
A small, family-run livery yard where every horse is known by name, cared for as an individual and surrounded by green fields, quiet lanes and good company.

Welcome to the yard
Golden Gallops is a small, family-run livery yard in the village of Sissinghurst, surrounded by the orchards, hedgerows and oast houses of the Kent countryside.
We keep things personal. Each horse has its own routine and its own needs, and we take the time to learn them. Owners get to know the people looking after their horse, and the yard feels like a community rather than a business.
We offer full, part and DIY livery, plus holiday livery for when you're away. There's an all-weather rubber school, a sand school, cross-country jumps and direct access to hacking straight from the yard, so there's always somewhere to ride, whatever the season.

Facilities

An all-weather rubber surface that drains well and stays forgiving underfoot, so you can keep schooling and jumping through the wet Kent winters.

A traditional sand arena for flatwork, lunging and groundwork, with room to work on transitions, circles and patterns at your own pace.

Natural cross-country fences on site, so you can practise logs and rustic fences at home before heading out to a course or event.

Ride straight out of the yard onto quiet lanes and hacking routes through the Kent countryside around Sissinghurst. No boxing up needed.
